This property has a great location, with a beautiful view of the gulf. It was very clean when we arrived and the check-in process could not have been easier. You can tell the furniture is a bit worn but was still comfortable, with the exception of the beds which were a little too firm for my taste. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we didn't do any real cooking. We could have used some instruction for the tv, because there were a lot of remotes. But we figured it out. All in all it was a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.

Island Royale was the perfect location, right on the beach! The amenities were awesome! My small children loved the pool area and kitty pool! The mattresses in our room were very very hard and uncomfortable. The room wasn’t the cleanest either, there was glitter and dirt from previous stays. But with the location and amenities, would still highly recommend this place! If you want direct beach access and a nice pool, this is the place to stay! There was plenty to do near by. We really enjoyed the Hangout to eat and listen to free live music. Could be in walking distance, but not with our small children. It was a short drive and they had parking! We hope to be back in the future! They kept outside of our room very clean all the time, so that was nice and comforting. They had a very friendly security guy that made the stay very welcoming! Joe the security guy was so friendly and social with everyone!

We have been coming to Gulf Shore for the last 4 years. Unfortunately the unit we had been staying at was rented out from under us. We found GSR and Harley found us Island Royale. What a beautiful building. We completely enjoyed our stay and GSR took care of us beyond our expectations. We will be returning!

My husband and I brought our kids and grandchild and this condo had it all. It was beach accessible. The indoor/outdoor pool was clean and nice size. The condo has the most amazing view of the beach. We saw dolphins every morning. The condo is nice size and very clean. We will definitely be booking again next year

We always like to stay at this rental. We did encounter a few problems. We let out the couch and it was full of crumbs so I swept it over to the entertainment center and as my broom went under I found about 4o puzzle pieces. The sofa sleeper wasn't comfortable either.

Wonderful condo, comfortable king-size bed; kitchen very well equipped, immediate response from maintenance regarding a few issues that needed fixing. A selection of books and puzzles were available for our use. The beach was clean, 7 chairs on the balcony, plenty of shaded parking, luggage racks and carts were helpful for unloading and loading. Unit was clean and insect free. We enjoyed watching so many dolphins from our balcony as well as the parasailors . Our enjoyable dining experiences included The Sunliner Cafe, Lauria’s and Surfside Pizza. The only negative was the traffic congestion on Route 59. All things considered, this was a great find.

The process from rental to checkout was very easy. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We truly enjoyed our stay at Island Royale 1105! We have stayed in different condos at Island Royale over the past 20 years. She is starting to show her age, but aren’t we all. Still one of the best locations in Gulf Shores.

Great trip, great view, great location.
Was told there was designated parking spot but that was not accurate...we have parking passes and there was plenty of general spots so it wasn't an issue. The beds are very firm so if that isn't your preference, you won't like them. Being on the beach and the balcony was amazing. Made any issue with the beds no big deal. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Nice location all was well except living room furniture. It might be okay for a weekend but for a longer stay with no chairs just doesn’t work. Therefore I will not stay there again.I booked elsewhere. Out side pool was another minus factor. Service from Realtor was excellent.

This unit had a ton of problems. Sink leaked all over the floor and our things. Hot water doesn’t work in the 2nd bathroom no matter how long you run it. The refrigerator never did get cold even after a week and the door wouldn’t always lock when you needed it to. The rental company did try to fix most issues but it definitely wasn’t worth the price we paid to have all these issues. Will not stay again and wouldn’t recommend renting this unit

Condo was good. It was in a great location and on the beach The kitchen had everything you would need. The bedrooms were nice and roomy. Everything was clean and well kept. The balcony view was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

Great view and quiet. Enjoyed our stay. Condo was nice. Just wish there had been instructions on how to use tv in the great room. We couldn’t figure out how to change channels with the remote. We had to get up and change channels from the back of the tv.

The place was great. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of space. Stocked kitchen for people that don’t really cook on vacation. Great location! Directly on the beach. Balcony was a great size. Didn’t really wait on elevators. We were on the 11th floor, so didn’t hear any noise. Parking was fine. I didn’t use the pool, too many kids. I would stay here again for sure.
