This condo was perfectly situated on the beach. There was a beautiful view of the ocean with ample seating on the balcony. The 2 king bedrooms and baths were perfect for our party of 4. The unit was clean, but it did have some wear and tear. The condition of the condo did not at all deter from our enjoyment of the place! Honestly, it made me feel better that it wasn't in perfect condition. I didn't have to worry so much about accidentally messing it up.

First, love renting from Gulf Shores Rentals, but I will not rent this unit or condo building again. GSR is not to blame. It's the builder, the owner, and the cleaners . When we first arrived we could feel the sand on the floor in the condo. We would walk on the tile floor barefoot and our feet would be very dirty. We used the vacuum but couldn't find a mop. There was a piece of wall mirror that had come unglued lying on the floor (not broken). The biggest issue was when the condo next door took a shower. They're drain was connected to our drain. It was so loud you'd think they were in our condo. The place needs painting, baseboard coming loose. Walls are so thin we would get woke up during the night by the person in the next condo snoring. We told GSR about the floor and the mirror, but told them we'd deal with it. The location is perfect. The building and condo need a lot of work. I'll rent from GSR again, but not at Surfside Condos.

Location was great. Unfortunately condo buildings were getting new walkways constructed to the beach while we were there so noisy. Condo could use updating. Towelswere in need of replacing. The patio was great for relaxing and viewing dolphins and pelicans. Local seafood was outstanding!

Our rental was very clean and perfectly located. There was an issue with one of the toilets (broken floor mount) in our condo and I called the office and it was fixed that same day. This is my 4th stay in the same building. I will come again!! Pleasant staff, well maintained, no hassle in/out

We had a just fine stay at Surf Side Shores 1404! Upon arrival, our room was hot and had a minor smell. After locating the thermostat and getting some airflow, the temperature and smell both improved. Speaking positively, the mattresses were super soft/comfortable, the air conditioner worked great, we had a nice balcony and amenities. One complaint would be that our master closet was filled with random decor, baskets, and the ironing board so I could not unpack into there. We also took the stairs a couple of times due to the elevator being occupied. But overall, we had a nice stay with no big issues!

Our Condo was clean, spacious and steps away from the beautiful beach . Beds were comfortable, check in and out was simple and convenient. We would definitely stay again . We had originally put a deposit on a different unit .. new owners wouldn’t honor reservations.. Gulf Shores rentals found us 3 units to choose from and made the process very easy .

The location was nice with easy access to the beach. The owner’s bed was terrible and the bathroom was very small. Only one towel bar to hang a towel on and no hangers in the closet. The toilet was on top of the toilet paper holder. The washer was extremely loud.

My husband, daughter and I traveled to Gulf Shores for a National softball tournament. The property was nice and directly on the beach. Close to many restaurants and within close driving distance to the ball parks. Spent many hours sitting on the sand. The pool area was nice and the staff very pleasant.

I believe the quest bedroom and pull out couch were full size, not queen size. The master bed was a good size. There were scuff marks all over the walls, the a/c intake was covered with dust. The doors to the balcony were covered with finger prints. The guest bathroom toilet overflowed. We cleaned that up ourselves (fun times). We put in a request on the app for the toilet to be fixed, but it was never really repaired. The kids had to share the master toilet or use the toilets by the pool for #2’s just to prevent another overflow. We had a good vacation despite the issues with the condo. We paid the same amount for a 3 bedroom condo on Orange beach last time at a big named (X )next to the Florida/Alabama line. I think we will stay there in the future or one of the (I-X) along the beach. The management company was very responsive and kind, just the property needs to be deep cleaned/ painted and the plumbing in the quest room needs to be really repaired by a plumber. The guest headboard is not connected to the bed and towels had to be put between the wall and headboard so when the kids moved it didn’t make slamming noises. This rental is on the beach with a short walk to the water!
It’s been updated with some things while others are still a little dated.
There was a musty smell upon arrival which we covered up with air freshener.
The queen bed headboard was not fastened on properly so it makes noise when you get in and out. The mattress was not very comfortable either.
The balcony is huge and overlooks the pool and beach which was beautiful! The condo is right off the elevator which was convenient.
